The cows have settled in wonderfully. they love their new pasture and are enjoying exploring new areas each time Ben and I fence off a new paddock for them to graze. The ones that didn't calve in Bradford had their babies up in the new barn, and so far everyone is doing wonderfully. They especially like the breeze that comes over the hill on warm days.
The pigs have awesome new pens that are open to the sunshine and fresh air, and they each have nifty hog waterers so that they don't have to worry about fresh water ever (and we don't have to worry about scrubbing nasty pig water dishes).
Last week Ben finished up the new chicken palace. It is huge and fully equipped with all the amenities any chicken could dream of including a dust bath (like a poultry spa), custom nesting boxes, a chicken ladder for roosting on and to top it all off, homemade chicken cupcakes (a treat Ben and I made for them out of suet and scratch grains).
